IT ALL STARTED WITH PIE

Aphrodite's Pie Shop is where it all began back in 2003; a cute and cozy retail bakery and coffee shop, spreading the love of local, organic ingredients one slice at a time.

Today it still has the same warm feel;  it's a place where you can slow down for a momment, step back in time in the old heritage building and enjoy a mug of homemade chai with a slice of pie (or a fresh muffin), while you catch up with friends or a good book that you picked up from our neighbours, Banyen Books!

 

Always Fresh, Always Organic

Our pies are individually handmade, one at a time, with lots of love. There are absolutely no fillers; nothing but all local organic ingredients including BC organic fruits and berries, Canadian, locally milled Anita's Organic unbleached flour, organic non-hydrogenated vegetable shortening, local organic SPCA certfied eggs, organic cane sugar and organic Avalon Dairy cream. We offer over 14 different types of pie and for those with special dietary requirements, we offer gluten-friendly and vegan pies too!
